Features and Benefits
MCCB (Molded Case Circuit Breakers) are designed to protect against overloads and short circuits in both low and high power applications. Trip settings are adjustable and they are thermal and thermal-magnetically operated. The current rating is up to 2,500 amperes.
Thermal-magnetic tripping mechanisms are designed with both a bi-metal switch and an electromagnet. They perform as a thermal breaker for low level overloads and perform as a magnetic breaker for instantaneous tripping mechanism at high levels.
